Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD - A U.S. Marine with Battalion Landing Team 1st Battalion, 7th Marine Regiment, 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit, acts as a simulated casualty during chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear, enroute care training as a part of Talisman Sabre 25, aboard the amphibious assault ship USS America (LHA 6), in the Coral Sea, July 18, 2025. The medical drill evaluated the response and triage tactics of CBRN specialists, corpsmen and ship surgeons while providing medical care underway. Talisman Sabre is the largest bilateral military exercise between Australia and the United States advancing a free and open Indo-Pacific by strengthening relationships and interoperability among key allies and partners, while enhancing our collective capabilities to respond to a wide array of potential security concerns.
