Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, HI - Airman from the 199th Expeditionary Fighter Squadron participated in a Chemical and Biological Defense (CBDP) Wearables Pilot Program during Talisman Sabre 23, Royal Australian Air Force Base Tindal, Australia in July-August 2023. Airmen that volunteered for the Wearables Experiment were outfitted with smartwatches that gathered data on heart rate, variability, respiratory rate, and more. Exercise Talisman Sabre is the largest bi-lateral exercise in Australia, demonstrating the combined U.S. and Australian capabilities to rapidly deploy and operate across multiple domains and a wide range of missions.
