NELLIS AIR FORCE BASE, Nev. - An F-22 Raptor assigned to the 53rd Wing, Eglin Air Force Base, idles while researchers from the 711th Human Performance Wing spray wintergreen-scented oil into the intakes prior to testing at Nellis Air Force Base, Nevada, Oct. 17, 2022. This test is part of a larger Department of Defense effort to evaluate cockpit environmental conditions after a simulated chemical weapon attack.
